Trinity Trigger DX Launches on Switch 2 With All 18 DLCs and 65% Off
FURYU has released Trinity Trigger DX (聖塔神記 トリニティトリガー DX) for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15, 2026, marking the fourth anniversary of the original action RPG. The DX edition bundles the full 2022 base game together with all 18 additional downloadable content items. To celebrate the launch, FURYU is running a special promotion that discounts the title by 65 percent. The release is aimed at both longtime fans and newcomers and arrives alongside a commemorative illustration from a key member of the original artwork team. The title is rated CERO B, meaning it is intended for players aged 12 and above.
The launch sale runs from September 15 through October 11, 2026. During this period, the game is priced at 3,000 yen (about $20 / ~¥145), down from its standard price of 8,580 yen (roughly $57 / ~¥415), a 65 percent discount. The limited-time promotion applies to the newly released Switch 2 version. By including all 18 DLC packs, the DX edition delivers the complete Trinity Trigger package in a single release, removing the need to purchase additional content separately. FURYU confirmed the pricing and sale window directly in its official announcement.
Trinity Trigger is an action RPG set in a world containing a sacred tower, where protagonist Cyan sets out on a journey to change his own fate. Its central theme is the idea of three discoveries. Players can switch between eight weapon types and swap characters to overcome crises, with finding the weapon that matches an enemy’s weakness serving as the key to victory. The game also supports multiplayer, allowing up to three players to adventure together. Puzzle elements are woven throughout, including hidden passages revealed by stepping closer to apparent dead ends and subtle environmental irregularities.
To mark the fourth anniversary, FURYU published a commemorative illustration by Toshiyuki Kitakaze, who handled trigger design for the game. The publisher is also running a FURYU GAMES TGS SALE across digital stores, offering popular titles at discounts of up to 80 percent.
