TGS Sale Slashes FF7 Rebirth 70%, Persona 3 Reload 60% and More
Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched the Tokyo Game Show Sale, a limited-time promotion offering discounts of up to 80 percent on select PS5 and PS4 titles. Running from September 9 to September 23, 2026, the event features a lineup of popular games spanning RPG and action genres, with Sony highlighting four titles in particular. FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, Monster Hunter Wilds, Persona 3 Reload, and PRAGMATA all receive notable price cuts ranging from 20 to 70 percent off their regular prices. Each of the four showcased titles carries a CERO C rating, meaning they are intended for players aged 15 and older.
Square Enix’s FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH headlines the promotion with the largest discount of the four highlighted titles. The PS5 RPG, normally priced at ¥6,578 (tax included), drops to ¥1,973 (tax included) for the duration of the sale, which works out to roughly $13 (about CN¥95) at a 70 percent markdown. The title carries a CERO C rating, indicating it is suitable for players aged 15 and above. As one of the biggest names in the event’s lineup, it represents the deepest single-title price cut announced so far.
Capcom contributes two PS5 action titles to the Tokyo Game Show Sale. Monster Hunter Wilds is offered at 25 percent off, with its price reduced from ¥4,990 to ¥3,742 (tax included), approximately $25 (about CN¥180). PRAGMATA Deluxe Edition, also an action game for PS5, receives a 20 percent reduction, dropping from ¥8,990 to ¥7,192 (tax included), or roughly $48 (about CN¥346). Both titles carry a CERO C rating for players aged 15 and older, giving action fans two discounted options from the same publisher during the event.
Atlus’s Persona 3 Reload Digital Premium Edition, available on both PS4 and PS5, is discounted 60 percent for the event. The RPG drops from ¥13,728 to ¥5,491 (tax included), about $37 (roughly CN¥265), making it the second-biggest cut among the highlighted titles. Sony notes that sale details may change without prior notice and that some titles may run on different sale periods. For RPG fans who have been holding off on these purchases, the two-week window ending September 23 looks well worth checking out.
