Persona 6 Heads to Nintendo Switch 2 as Persona 4 Revival Event Looms


Atlus has confirmed that Persona 6, the next mainline entry in its long-running role-playing franchise, will release on Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement also outlined the game’s wider platform lineup. At the same time, the company shared fresh details for Persona 4 Revival, including a dated special broadcast and a newly released battle theme. Both projects are part of the Persona series, which has built a dedicated following for its distinctive worldview and gameplay.
According to the announcement, Persona 6 will inherit the series’ long-beloved unique worldview and innovative gameplay while telling an entirely new story on a brand-new stage. Beyond Nintendo Switch 2, the title is also set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Players can already add the game to their wishlists on the respective platforms. No release date or pricing information was included in the announcement.

A dedicated broadcast for Persona 4 Revival, titled “Persona 4 Revival TV ~Cast and New Interactive Story~”, is scheduled to air on September 20 at 7:00 AM Beijing time. The program will introduce the self-proclaimed special investigation team members who work alongside the protagonist to uncover the truth of the case, as well as the new additions featured in the game. Additional information is expected to be shared during the stream.

The new battle track “Reach Out To The Truth -Revival-” launched today across major music platforms, accompanied by a lyric video. Meanwhile, the Persona 4 Revival: Limited Box includes a special packaging box newly drawn by Shigenori Soejima, a Midnight TV-shaped phone pouch, an exclusive T-shirt, a 48-page art book (Japanese), a royal blue costume set, and the physical edition. Digital Premium and Digital Deluxe editions were also listed. With a broadcast date locked in and new music already out, Revival is clearly picking up momentum ahead of September 20.
