Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Remake Gameplay Debuts, November 5 Launch
Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, broadcast on September 8, 2026, delivered its headline reveal with the first gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (ゼルダの伝説 時のオカリナ) for Switch 2. The presentation featured a live demonstration by series producer Eiji Aonuma, showing the actual game in motion. The remake is scheduled to launch on November 5, 2026. According to the presentation, the remake’s graphics and sound have been completely overhauled, with the story now featuring full voice acting.
