Snoopy Mystery Adventure Game Reveals Gameplay Trailer and May Release
Publisher 3goo has released a 13-minute gameplay trailer for ‘Snoopy and the Exciting Secret Club,’ a mystery adventure game starring the beloved Peanuts character. The trailer showcases the game’s early sections where players control Snoopy as he investigates mysterious events with his friends. The game is scheduled for release on May 14, 2026, for both Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This marks a new interactive adventure for the iconic character who has been popular for over 70 years.
Players take on the role of Snoopy as the leader of a secret detective club, teaming up with familiar Peanuts characters including Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, Lucy, Marcie, Schroeder, and Franklin. Each character’s unique personality plays a key role in solving cases, which include investigating disappearing kites and uncovering the truth behind a mysterious lake monster. The game features modern, soft graphics while maintaining the nostalgic Peanuts aesthetic with its signature dry humor woven throughout various scenarios.
The adventure takes players through familiar locations from the Peanuts universe including schools, music halls, Charlie Brown’s house, and baseball fields. Snoopy can utilize various disguises such as detective, beagle scout, and pirate outfits while using tools like magnifying glasses and metal detectors for puzzle-solving. The game also includes numerous mini-games ranging from baseball and football to crafts, memory tests, item searches, piano playing, soapbox racing, and airplane chases against the Red Baron.
The game will be available in multiple editions across both platforms. For Nintendo Switch 2, the Standard Edition is priced at ¥4,800 (~$33) as download-only, with additional content available for ¥980 (~$7).
