Kellogg’s Cereal Mascots Get PVC Figure Collection in Japan
Takara Tomy Arts has announced the upcoming release of Kellogg’s Characters Figure, a capsule toy collection featuring the beloved breakfast cereal mascots. The figures will be available through capsule toy machines in Japan starting in late April 2026, with each try costing 400 yen (approximately $2.70 or ~¥19). The collection includes four iconic characters that have graced Kellogg’s cereal boxes for years, now transformed into detailed PVC figures suitable for display in kitchens or dining areas.
All four figures represent classic Kellogg’s mascots: Tony the Tiger from Corn Flakes, Coco-kun from Choco Krispies, Connie from Corn Flakes, and Melvin who appeared on Choco Wa packaging until 2004. Each character has been faithfully recreated in PVC material, with heights ranging from approximately 49mm to 60mm. The figures capture the distinctive personalities that have made these characters recognizable to generations of cereal consumers worldwide.

The Kellogg’s Characters Figure collection has been designed with display in mind, featuring finishes that would look appealing in kitchen or dining room settings. As capsule toys, they follow the traditional gachapon format where customers insert coins and receive a random figure from the set. The compact size makes them ideal for shelf display while maintaining sufficient detail to showcase each character’s unique features and expressions.
The figures will be distributed through capsule toy machines across Japan beginning in late April 2026. While primarily targeted at the Japanese market, such collectibles often attract international collectors through secondary markets. For gamers and collectors who appreciate crossover merchandise or have nostalgic connections to these breakfast icons, this represents an unusual but charming addition to the world of character figures. The blend of food branding and collectible culture creates an interesting niche product worth watching for dedicated collectors.
