Farming Simulator 26 Launches May 19th on Nintendo Switch
Sega has announced that Farming Simulator 26, the agricultural simulation game developed by GIANTS Software, will officially launch on Nintendo Switch on May 19th, 2026. Both physical and digital versions are now available for pre-order. This title serves as the sequel to Farming Simulator 23: Nintendo Switch Edition, which was released in 2023. The new installment introduces a comprehensive challenge system that offers diverse mission content, allowing players to experience tangible growth as they complete tasks and enjoy more varied farming activities. The game promises to deliver an authentic agricultural experience on Nintendo’s handheld platform.
Players will experience farm management on two brand new maps set in Europe and North America. The newly added challenge system not only includes optional tutorial functions but also allows players to experience complete production chains, such as transporting wheat to mills and producing cakes in bread factories. Additionally, completing weekly and seasonal challenges will provide corresponding rewards. This system is designed to give players a more structured progression path while maintaining the series’ signature open-ended farming simulation gameplay.
In Farming Simulator 26, players can customize their farms according to personal preferences. Beyond cultivating 15 different crops and performing various field operations, players can operate large forestry machinery for forest work or care for multiple types of livestock including cows, sheep, chickens, and goats. The addition of new production chains and logistics elements further enhances the game’s strategic depth and gameplay variety. Players can control over 120 types of equipment including tractors, harvesters, and sprayers from globally recognized brands.
The game features authentic agricultural machinery from numerous global brands including Kubota, Case IH, CLAAS, DEUTZ-FAHR, Fendt, John Deere, KRONE, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra. These licensed vehicles provide realistic farming operations on the Nintendo Switch platform. The developers have also improved GPS navigation functions and tutorials to make gameplay more comfortable on the handheld device. These enhancements are designed to help newcomers get started quickly while providing a relaxing gaming experience for all players. With its detailed simulation mechanics and expanded content, Farming Simulator 26 appears poised to deliver the most comprehensive farming experience yet for Nintendo Switch owners.
