Phantom Blade Zero’s 100% Completion Is Reportedly Impossible

Multiple players in the Phantom Blade Zero (影之刃零) community have reported that their completion rate plateaus at 97 percent and refuses to reach 100 percent, even after they explore every area of the map and finish soul-forging all weapons and Phantom Blade arms in a single playthrough. The reports, first surfacing through the Ali213 news site, describe a stubborn percentage gap that persists regardless of how thoroughly the game is cleared. According to those accounts, the ceiling is not a matter of missed content, but of how the completion counter itself is calculated.
Players who unpacked the game’s files reportedly found roughly 15 abandoned items that cannot be obtained at all in the release build, yet are still counted in the denominator of the overall collection total. Because those entries can never be collected, 100 percent completion is understood to be technically unachievable in the current version. In practical terms, exhausting every corner of the game’s world yields a figure diluted by unused data, leaving completionists permanently short of the finish line.

At the time of reporting, S-Game has not issued a dedicated official explanation regarding the completion-rate calculation logic or the abandoned content issue. When the title’s sales passed 4 million units, the studio said that the various problems reported by players in recent days had been logged and were being addressed, with a batch of fixes for obvious bugs planned for the near term. No specific timeline for a collection-rate fix has been announced.

The 97 percent ceiling does not block the platinum trophy. Full achievements do not require 100 percent collection, as the platinum only demands the perfect ending, a set of white side quests, all black stones and killing-intent amber, and soul-forging 10 weapons along with 10 Phantom Blade arms. For completionists, the missing percentage remains a nagging irritation rather than a roadblock — though a small patch that trims the dead entries would be a welcome gesture.
