Mind Diver Mystery Adventure Launches on Switch 2 and PS5 on August 27, 2026
Developer Indoor Sunglasses has announced that mystery adventure Mind Diver will launch its Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 (PS5) download versions on August 27, 2026. Published by indie label PLAYISM, the game casts players as a “Mind Diver” who explores the sea of human consciousness using an experimental technology. It first arrived on PC in September 2025, where it earned a “Very Positive” reception from players. A new release trailer showcasing the game’s world and appeal has also been unveiled alongside the announcement.
The story follows Lina, a woman whose memory is rapidly collapsing. Using the Mind Dive technology, players dive into her “Mind Ocean” to search for the missing Sebastian, a disappearance case that demands urgent action. Lina’s subconscious holds several secrets, and the key memories are missing crucial pieces. Players must eavesdrop on private conversations, examine every corner, and piece together clues to restore those memories, gradually uncovering overlooked facts and the truth behind the case.
At the heart of the story is a couple who once loved each other deeply but fell apart for some reason. Lina lost her memory, and Sebastian went missing — leaving questions about a mysterious party and a tragedy buried in the “regret” deep within her consciousness. The game’s distinct art style was built by 3D-scanning the realistic performances of Danish actors, with the development team based in Denmark. Dialogue is fully voiced in English, designed to immerse players as if they were exploring the memories themselves.
Mind Diver will be available as a download on Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 from August 27, 2026, priced at 1,840 yen (~$13 / ~¥88). It supports English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Korean. The game is developed by Indoor Sunglasses and published by PLAYISM. With a compelling mystery premise and an acclaimed PC release already behind it, this console debut is definitely one to watch for fans of narrative-driven adventures.
