Idolmaster Twins Ami & Mami Deliver Emotional Tokyo Twin Live Finale
On August 27, 2026, twin idols Ami and Mami Futami of 765 Production held the Tokyo performance of their twin live “Futagoboshi no Tsubasa” (Wings of the Twin Stars) at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo, with the show also streamed online via ASOBI STAGE. The event served as the final stop of the “dual twin live tour,” following prior performances in Osaka and Nagoya, and saw the duo perform every song together. The show opened with a picture book-style narration segment depicting the deep bond between white and black stars shining near the North Star, before the sisters took the stage in white and black-themed outfits against a temple-like set under a night sky.
The live kicked off with “Start→to Start→,” featuring highly synchronized steps and twin harmonies that energized the venue. It was followed by “Dokitto Love Attraction” and “Unique Stars on Stage!!,” a special mix of Ami’s solo “On Stage Player!” and Mami’s solo “Unique Star Player!” — two songs with identical structure but different lyrics that found true completion when sung together. The middle stretch included the dance number “Jungle Party,” a cover of Hibiki Ganaha’s “Pon De Beach,” “Agent Yoru wo Yuku,” and the EDM track “Soshite Bokura wa Tabi ni Deru,” which paired the duo’s playful vocals with a beautiful starry backdrop.
The second half resumed with “Otona no Hajimari,” followed by a cover of Yayoi Takatsuki’s signature “Kiramekirari” and “Positive!,” whose dialogue portions received special live-only tweaks. The pre-encore closer was “Destiny,” with the narration wrapping up as the two stars became a single “Wing Star” through the power of their love. The encore brought “THE Ai” and “Wing,” originally sung by office clerk Kotori Otonashi, but equipment trouble hit mid-song. After the staff credits rolled, the pair returned to perform “Start→to Start→” and “Wing” once more, double-encore style, drawing the night’s biggest response. Unlike Osaka and Nagoya, which included solo numbers, Tokyo had the twins perform every song together, and Famitsu plans to publish a report on the Azusa and Ritsuko twin live as well.
