FSPL Street Basketball Chengdu Qualifier Unveils 9 Pro Teams

The 2026 FSPL Chengdu qualifier for the club track (professional group) is scheduled to begin on October 17 at 11:00, with nine battle-hardened professional street basketball clubs gathering in Chengdu. The teams will compete for the single available ticket to the Chengdu Qicheng Cup. Described as southwest China’s annual professional street basketball showcase, the event brings together established regional powerhouses, local first-tier squads, and veteran clubs from outside the province. Organizers state that the roster quality is at its peak, and that every round is expected to be a head-on clash between evenly matched sides.
The lineup spans veteran giants and rising newcomers. Soul was founded in 2017 and posted strong 2024 FSPL results, while DCCK is a recognized old-guard powerhouse once among the largest clubs in the four regions. Tianfu乄, established in March 2026, already sits in the first tier with 300 registered players and a 500-member community. The rest of the field includes Qingluan Yueying, Bangnimang, KTG Esports, the rebound-focused Banshen, Anhui’s Huifeng Wanyun, and the popular Guang zhi Mimi. Each club is represented by a three-player roster in the competition.

Several clubs field standout talent. Bangnimang’s combination of Dongsifu, Tianyi, and Achen is described as a title-contending setup, with Dongsifu a hall-of-fame outside shooter and Tianyi a multiple-champion power forward. KTG’s Kaola is a Chengdu native star who has reached the SFSA finals top eight, joined by Shanshan, formerly a Soul rising-group core. DCCK’s Li Ge is an experienced veteran and on-court commander, while Banshen features female player Nandan Cco. Soul fields Linghun Xiana, TKM, and Duanfa, while Guang zhi Mimi’s Zhijian anchors fast-break attacks.

The club track will run a first round of nine-to-six group round-robin play, followed by a six-to-four positioning stage, and then a four-team best-of-five double-elimination finals. The field is tightly matched: Bangnimang leads on paper with a national-level inside-outside combination, while Soul and DCCK bring deep big-match experience and Tianfu乄 enjoys home-court advantage. KTG, Banshen, and Qingluan Yueying each have tricks that could produce an upset. With no weak teams at any stage, this is shaping up as a genuinely unpredictable event—one worth watching for street basketball fans.
