Dinolords’ Medieval Jurassic RTS Adds 8-Player Multiplayer Mode
Ghost Ship Publishing and Northplay announced on September 29, 2026, that their upcoming title Dinolords will receive a multiplayer mode. Described as a medieval Jurassic RTS, the game blends real-time strategy, city-building, and action RPG combat into what the team calls a Hack’N’Strat experience. Set in an alternate version of England shaped by the revival of dinosaurs, players assume the role of a lord defending the realm from invaders. A free demo supporting up to eight players is scheduled to arrive on October 19, 2026.
The newly announced multiplayer mode supports up to eight players, each constructing their own fortress while battling hostile forces and recruiting dinosaurs to their cause. Players can either compete against rival lords for dominance or rule together cooperatively. The developers stated that multiplayer was envisioned from the very beginning of Dinolords’ development, and that a solid gameplay foundation now makes the shared experience possible. They expressed hope that players will dive in and build their own domains with the help of loyal dinosaur companions.

In Dinolords, the player takes to the battlefield as a lord, moving across the map with WASD controls to gather resources, advance base construction, and fight alongside soldiers. Lord-specific abilities can wipe out enemies and turn an unfavorable battle around. A key feature is taming dinosaurs, each with distinct abilities, and understanding their traits to gain the upper hand. Beyond combat, players construct a lively medieval town, upgrade facilities, and even use dinosaur power for production. Strong defenses are needed to survive this era of conflict.

Dinolords is planned to launch in early access, with the development team adopting an Open Development approach that incorporates player feedback. During that period, the team intends to build the game alongside the community, focusing on core mechanics such as combat, strategy, and city-building. The full release date and price remain undetermined. The game supports Japanese and English, and is being developed by Northplay and published by Ghost Ship Publishing. For strategy fans drawn to unusual premises, the dinosaur-meets-medieval concept is certainly one to watch.
