Dead Space Remake Crack Fix Ends Denuvo Protection Saga

A prominent Denuvo cracker operating under the name voices38 has released a new REAL CRACKFIX patch for Dead Space Remake, signaling that the 2023 sci-fi horror title’s anti-tamper protection has finally been fully defeated. The patch represents the fifth revision in the crack’s development history. Dead Space Remake was rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studio on the Frostbite engine, preserving the original’s claustrophobic space station atmosphere while substantially upgrading its visuals and combat feel. It is widely regarded as one of the most acclaimed horror remakes in recent years.
According to the release notes, earlier builds of the crack contained multiple oversights that caused crashes and runtime errors for some players, particularly in Chapter 10 and several other scenes. In the accompanying NFO file, voices38 acknowledged that he had missed some issues previously and pledged that the new version was rebuilt from scratch using the latest tools. All functions are now reported to be running normally. This fix follows an iterative pattern of corrections, making it the fifth update issued for the title.

voices38 also used the release to announce that his cracking toolchain for 2023 titles will receive significant upgrades, intended to prevent similar problems from recurring. That statement implies he plans to continue targeting other games protected by Denuvo’s anti-tamper technology. The update marks his first public release in over a month, breaking a period of silence that followed his only public comment on the ongoing legal dispute. No timeline was provided for any future projects.

The release arrives amid a legal campaign by Irdeto, Denuvo’s parent company. In mid-September, Denuvo filed suit against voices38 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California under DMCA anti-circumvention provisions, alleging the circumvention of 26 games including Dead Space Remake, Black Myth: Wukong and Hogwarts Legacy. The company also sought subpoenas to obtain associated account details from third-party platforms in an effort to identify the individual. voices38 briefly responded that everything is fine and everything will continue as normal. Whether this cat-and-mouse dynamic shifts remains an open question for observers of the scene.
