Cthulhu Mythos TD R’lyeh Girls Squad Launches Half-Anniversary Event
DMM GAMES has kicked off the “Evil God Festival,” a half-anniversary celebration campaign for its idle tower defense title Evil God War Chronicles: R’lyeh Girls Squad ~Cthulhu Mythos TD~ (邪神戦記ルルイエ少女隊 ～クトゥルフ神話TD～). The event began following the September 25 maintenance and is operated by EXNOA, a company headquartered in Tokyo’s Minato ward under CEO Hiroshi Tojo. During the campaign, players can obtain up to the equivalent of 300 summons in summon tickets through login bonuses and missions, while several limited-time events and a new ★3 Vice character have also been introduced.
Among the highlighted additions is the “True Trial of the Yellow King,” a limited-time challenge that pits players against the evil god Haster after it unleashes its true power. A second new mode, “Wide-Area Combat,” expands the battlefield so players face large numbers of enemies across a broader map. Completing missions tied to these events grants rewards that include a costume for Haster. According to the announcement, these features are available only during the campaign period, giving players a limited window to earn the associated bonuses.
A new ★3 Vice named [Wisdom Guide] Treira has also been implemented. The character appears on a limited-time basis in the ongoing Pickup Summon, and is additionally available as a bonus in newly launched packs as well as through the Secret Medal exchange. Separately, the currently running event “Aldebaran’s Will: The Day Two Moons Overlap” lets players recruit the ★2 Witch Peony through the event exchange shop, alongside other rewards.
