Cheeky Cheerhythm: Taunt-Filled Fitness Rhythm Game Hits PC in 2027
Developer Yabukara-dou (Silver Sprout Studio) has announced Cheeky Cheerhythm (Ganbare! Cheerhythm), a new fitness rhythm action game coming to PC platforms with a 2027 release window. The game casts players as a coach tasked with producing the cheer dance of Shishikura Iroha, a proud and cheeky high school girl voiced by Hinata Yuka. A store page listing indicates the 2027 target. The title is also confirmed for Tokyo Game Show 2026, where a playable demo will be available at the developer’s booth.
Players hold two motion controllers — Joy-Con or Joy-Con 2 recommended — and swing them like pom-poms to keep the rhythm. The objective is to make Iroha acknowledge the player’s coaching skills and restore the sports club’s performance through the best cheer dance. No matter how accurate the input is, over 600 fully recorded taunt voice lines fire off constantly, including phrases like “Za-ko ♡” and “Too desperate ♡.” Her body is animated in real time via Live2D, with her movements changing based on play accuracy, and drama sequences progress between rhythm segments.

Shishikura Iroha (CV: Hinata Yuka) is a prideful high school girl with cute fangs and a striking figure, admired by male students and always teasing them. She has no cheer experience, but her talent awakens under the teacher’s guidance. She mocks the player throughout lessons with “Za-ko” taunts, yet her body honestly reacts to accurate rhythm input — a gap the developer highlights as her charm. Character design and original art are handled by world-renowned illustrator Asanagi.

Cheeky Cheerhythm will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17–21 (public days September 19–21), at the Indie Game Corner Turnkey Booth 09-C10 in the Yabukara-dou booth, near the food court at the south end of international exhibition halls 9–11. Trial sessions last roughly 10 minutes, and attendees who play receive a limited TGS-only novelty gift. Minimum system requirements include Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i7 2.5GHz, and DirectX 10-compatible graphics. With Asanagi’s art and a premise built on being relentlessly teased, this one looks like a fun pick for rhythm fans who enjoy a bit of attitude.
