Angelic Agency: Soul Salvation Unit Demo Launches October 9
A free demo for Angelic Agency: Soul Salvation Unit, a PC mystery adventure from developer Yokunik, will launch on October 9, 2026, the studio announced. Players take on the role of an investigator within the “Angelic Agency,” a public security organization tasked with probing supernatural “spirit harm incidents.” The protagonist, Tsujitsuma, possesses the ability to view the memories of spirits, a power central to unraveling each case. The demo covers the opening portion of the game’s first episode. The title is also set to take part in a digital games festival in October 2026.
The game is described as a mystery adventure built around the investigation of “spirit harm incidents” — bizarre phenomena that appear to be the work of ghosts. Tsujitsuma’s signature ability lets him view a spirit’s memories, meaning deduction against human suspects is only part of the process. During reasoning segments, players confront the supernatural directly, drawing on evidence left at the scene as well as memories witnessed in the moment. According to the studio, memories, trauma, and past lives — the recollections of the dead — serve as the keys that unlock each haunting.

The full release is structured as four episodes, labeled Case 1 through Case 4, presented in an omnibus format in which each story stands on its own. Players resolve cases one at a time rather than following a single continuous narrative. The demo offers a taste of this structure by covering the beginning of the first episode. The title is designed for single-player play and will be available in Japanese and English. A release date for the finished version has yet to be announced.

The demo’s opening follows Tsujitsuma and his colleagues as they visit a game center to investigate a murder. At the arcade, a rumor circulates about a haunted photo booth: anyone who takes a picture there is said to go missing. The mystery of the vanished victim and the truth behind the rumor form the crux of the first case. For fans of supernatural detective stories, this free demo looks like a worthwhile way to preview the game’s investigation and memory-reading systems ahead of its full launch.
