Overwatch and Naraka: Bladepoint Launch Major Crossover Event
Overwatch and Naraka: Bladepoint (永劫无间) have officially launched a major two-way crossover event, bringing exclusive content from each game into the other’s universe. The collaboration, announced on February 11, 2026, features character transformations where Overwatch heroes become Naraka: Bladepoint characters and vice versa. Players can now access special skins, emotes, and cosmetic items that blend the distinct aesthetics of both popular multiplayer titles. This marks a significant collaboration between two major gaming franchises with dedicated international fanbases.
The crossover features five major character transformations between the two games. From Overwatch, D.Va transforms into the clever tactician Shen Miao, while Reaper becomes the formidable general Yue Shan. Widowmaker takes on the appearance of the blind swordswoman Ning Hongye. From Naraka: Bladepoint, the character Wu Yang transforms into Overwatch’s Wrecking Ball, and Freya appears as the character Wei Qing. Each transformation represents a creative reinterpretation of the original characters within the visual style of the opposite game.
Beyond the character skins, the event introduces four exclusive emotes: Widowmaker’s “Returning Soul Flower,” Freya’s “Sword Draw,” Reaper’s “Martial Might,” and D.Va’s spinning emote. Players can also obtain five crossover character avatars and nameplates, along with four unique sprays. The event offers ten special character voice lines, exclusive collectibles, and pendants, providing extensive customization options for dedicated players of both games.
During the event period, players receive one New Year supply for every ten crossover loot boxes opened, with a limit of five per person. By participating in concurrent activities, players can accumulate up to 22 New Year supplies total. Notably, Widowmaker’s exclusive “Red Dawn New Joy” skin can only be obtained through these New Year supplies. The event represents a substantial content update for both games, offering players new ways to engage with familiar characters through fresh visual presentations and collectible items. This collaboration demonstrates how major gaming franchises can creatively intersect, providing fans with unique crossover experiences that celebrate both game worlds simultaneously.
