Which iPad do I need?
Any USB-C iPad running iPadOS 17 or later. Lightning-port iPads are not supported.
Which capture cards are supported?
Most HDMI capture cards conforming to the USB Video Class (UVC) standard work. Jemdo-brand capture cards unlock the full set of companion features (instant replay, AI highlights, GIF maker, picture adjustments).
Why is there no audio after connecting the capture card?
Check: 1) the source has audio; 2) the iPad volume is up; 3) Audio Pass-through is enabled in Settings.
Where are recordings saved?
Saved to the iPad Photos app by default. You can export to Files, email, AirDrop, etc. from inside the app.
Do I need to pay or sign up?
No. The app is permanently free. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no account, no ads.
