Tomb Raider RE Showcases at IGN Live, Persona 4 Remake Rated in Korea

A series of major gaming announcements have emerged across multiple fronts this week, spanning new reveals, player polling data, and market analysis. The classic action-adventure title Tomb Raider: Relics of Atlantis will make its first major public appearance at IGN Live 2026 in Los Angeles, running from June 6 to 7. Meanwhile, the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) has officially rated Persona 4: Revival among other titles. Additional stories include a player poll showing PlayStation preference for Halo: Campaign Evolution, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s storage requirements on Nintendo Switch 2, and updated data on PlayStation sales in China.
British actress Alix Wilton Regan, the new Lara Croft, will appear on a dedicated panel at IGN Live to discuss her approach to portraying the character, covering motion capture and emotional performance. This event marks the game’s first official promotional activity since its reveal at The Game Awards 2025. Separately, a poll conducted by content creator Spawn Wave with over 18,000 participants found that 43% plan to purchase Halo: Campaign Evolution on PlayStation 5, with PC second at 31%. Xbox Series consoles placed last, and some commenters called for a Nintendo Switch 2 port.

The GRAC rating list includes Persona 4: Revival, which had been previously reported but lacked a release window. With early June showcases approaching, industry observers expect Atlus to announce a launch date and reveal gameplay footage soon. Also on the list was Paradox Interactive’s LEGO: Skyline. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will require 102.5 GB on Nintendo Switch 2, making it the platform’s largest title. It will be distributed via a Game-Key Card system. By comparison, the PC version needed roughly 150 GB, indicating significant optimization for the portable console.

Industry analyst Daniel Camilo reports that PlayStation has achieved combined PS4 and PS5 sales of millions of units in China, including both official and parallel imports. Camilo noted that console and PC gaming growth does not come at the expense of mobile gaming, which remains dominant. However, a growing number of mobile gamers are shifting toward consoles and PC, showing willingness to spend more on high-quality titles. This week’s news paints a dynamic picture of the industry, and with Tomb Raider’s showcase and Persona 4’s imminent reveal, there is plenty for gamers to anticipate in the weeks ahead.
