Superhero Dispatch Center Designer Hints ‘Endless Mode’ Is in Development

Superhero Dispatch Center lead game designer Charles Makolim has hinted that an Endless Mode may be on the way for the narrative-driven title. During a recent interview with IGN Brazil, Makolim was asked directly about the possibility of such a mode, responding with a simple but telling message: “Stay tuned regarding Endless Mode.” This response has been widely interpreted within the community as a clear signal that the development team is currently working on the feature.
Superhero Dispatch Center is a choice-driven game built around storytelling and dialogue, with gameplay segments such as “scheduling” and “hacking” woven into the main campaign. While some players prefer to skip these interactions and focus solely on the narrative, a significant portion of the player base has expressed strong appreciation for these mechanics. Fans have long called for an Endless Mode that would extend these gameplay elements beyond the confines of the main story, allowing for continued engagement after the credits roll.

It remains unclear whether the Endless Mode will arrive as paid DLC or as a free update. However, Makolim’s comments have renewed hope among players awaiting news on the game’s future. Developer Ad Hoc Studio previously indicated it was “considering a second season” after the final episode launched, but no official updates have followed since then. The studio has remained largely silent on future content plans until now.

The hint at an Endless Mode suggests that Ad Hoc Studio is still actively monitoring community feedback and planning long-term content for Superhero Dispatch Center. For players hoping for a second season, the introduction of an Endless Mode could help reignite community engagement and build momentum—potentially paving the way for a full second season down the line. While nothing is confirmed yet, this is certainly a development worth watching for fans of the game.
