Japanese metal processing company Sea Force has created a unique portable gaming PC built into a stainless steel attaché case that weighs approximately 20kg. The company, which specializes in jewelry processing machinery, showcased the innovative hardware at Tokyo eSports Festa 2026 alongside custom gaming trophies and accessories. The portable system features a 27-inch monitor and keyboard that deploy when the case is opened, designed for comfortable 3D data editing, video editing, and gaming while on the move. Sea Force’s expertise in metal processing allows them to create custom hardware enclosures that can house computer components and circuits.
Sea Force demonstrated their capabilities by creating custom stainless steel arcade sticks and gaming trophies for esports tournaments. The company can produce championship rings identical to those worn by game characters and custom trophies of various sizes, including resin rings measuring about 15cm. Their metal processing technology enables them to create almost anything within machine-handleable dimensions. The company exhibited at the gaming event specifically to promote their ability to create original trophies and hardware for gaming competitions.
The attaché case gaming PC addresses the limitations of traditional gaming laptops, which typically max out at 17.3-inch displays and often offer performance inferior to desktop systems. Sea Force’s solution packs desktop-level performance into a portable form factor with a large 27-inch screen. The company adopted a straightforward approach: since a PC only needs the right components to function, they decided to build one. The resulting system weighs about 20kg, comparable to large full-tower desktop PCs, making its portability somewhat debatable but undeniably impressive.
When asked why they chose heavy stainless steel instead of lighter aluminum or plastic materials, Sea Force provided a simple answer: “because it looks cool.” The hairline finish with numerous fine lines creates a visually striking appearance that prioritizes aesthetics over ease of handling. The company’s philosophy embraces a “try it if you think of it” approach to hardware creation. While the 20kg weight challenges the definition of “portable,” the stainless steel construction and unique design make this gaming PC a conversation piece that demonstrates what’s possible when metalworking expertise meets gaming hardware innovation.
