Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Exhibit Reveals Details, Tickets Live
Organizer Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, with cooperation and supervision from Capcom, has unveiled the venue map and select exhibit content for THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD 30th Anniversary Exhibition. The event will run for 56 days from October 30 to December 24, 2026, at the Shibuya BEAM Gallery in Tokyo, a five-minute walk from Shibuya Station. The exhibition recreates the series’ elaborate horror world through space, video, and physical displays, letting visitors relive the incidents and terrors faced by its protagonists at life-size scale. A trailer condensing the exhibition’s highlights has also been released alongside the announcement.
The venue spans seven zones in total, with new details revealed for several of them. The ‘Evidence of Terror’ area will present virus-related exhibits centered on the t-Virus, alongside creatures mutated by infection. Another zone, ‘The Beginning Virus,’ focuses on the t-Virus developed by the Umbrella Corporation — the origin point of the series — and the tragedies it brought about. The exhibition also includes THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD Theater and commemorative merchandise sales. Development materials covering the viruses, parasites, and fungi that define the series’ infection themes will be consolidated, with meticulously crafted life-size villain figures on display.
In the ‘Memories of Those Who Confronted’ area, the exhibition spotlights the protagonists who stood against creatures and villains, showcasing their journeys from first appearance to the latest title with rich presentation. A life-size three-dimensional figure of Leon S. Kennedy — the character who survived the Raccoon City incident and numerous other Biohazard cases — is currently in production. Organizers confirmed that additional exhibits and programs will be announced through future updates, and event details remain subject to change without notice.
General tickets went on sale today, August 3, with all tickets requiring a designated date and time. A limited-quantity special ticket includes an exhibition-exclusive framed pin set featuring the event logo and 19 titles from the series, covering the first game through the latest release. Up to six tickets can be purchased per transaction, and one preschool child enters free per adult. Weekday hours run 10:00 to 21:00 and weekend/holiday hours 9:00 to 21:00, with last entry at 19:59 both cases. The survival horror series, which began in 1996, has sold over 201 million copies worldwide as of March 31, 2026 — this exhibition looks like a must-see for longtime fans.
