Pokémon Legends: Z-A Connectivity with Pokémon HOME Coming Spring 2026
The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon HOME will receive an update in Spring 2026 to enable connectivity with the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This update will allow players to transfer Pokémon they’ve caught in the new game to the Pokémon HOME service, as well as bring Pokémon from previous series titles into Pokémon Legends: Z-A for use in their adventures. The connectivity feature represents a significant addition to the Pokémon ecosystem, maintaining the series’ tradition of allowing players to carry their Pokémon collections across different games and generations.
To commemorate the connectivity between Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon HOME, players will receive a special gift during their first connection. When players transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME, they will receive “Oyakata’s” Chikorita, Pokabu, and Waninoko through the “Mysterious Gift” feature in the smartphone version of Pokémon HOME. This promotional gift provides players with three special starter Pokémon variants as an incentive for utilizing the connectivity features between the two services.
The announcement also revealed that Pokémon HOME has additional connectivity plans for 2026. The service will connect with games released on February 27, 2026, as well as with titles scheduled for Nintendo Switch release in April 2026 and smartphone release in Summer 2026. These planned connections indicate that Pokémon HOME will continue to serve as the central hub for Pokémon storage and transfer across multiple platforms and game releases throughout the coming year.
