Pokemon and BOSS Coffee Collaboration Returns with Exclusive Merch
Suntory Beverage & Food has announced the second wave of its collaboration between BOSS coffee and the Pokemon 30th anniversary celebration, featuring new products, exclusive merchandise giveaways, and special packaging designs. The campaign kicks off on August 31, 2026, with a new coffee blend named BOSS Rekisen no Bitou launching September 1. The collaboration includes embroidered jackets, Pokemon-themed can labels, and plush home goods, expanding on the partnership that began earlier this year.
From August 31 to November 30, 2026, customers who purchase qualifying 6-can packs of BOSS coffee can enter a lottery to win the Rekisen no BOSS G-Jacket, a denim jacket featuring embroidered Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise designs on the back. Five winners will be selected for each of the three Pokemon variants. Alternatively, 3,000 winners will receive a BOSS original QUO card valued at 1,500 yen. The new Rekisen no Bitou blend itself was developed from over 100 trial recipes, resulting in what the company calls a Full Power Blend Lv.100 with a bold, bitter flavor profile.
Starting September 1, five core BOSS products including Rainbow Mountain Blend, Premium BOSS Mikata, and BOSS Cafe Ole will receive redesigned Pokemon Zukan Cans packaging as part of the second wave. The new labels feature Pikachu alongside the starter trios from the Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea regions, complete with Pokedex information printed on the side. A separate QR code campaign running from September 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027 offers a chance to win themed T-shirts or Gift Pay points, with 100,000 total prizes available.
Craft Boss is also releasing a Pokemon Relax Label series across three products featuring nine laid-back Pokemon including Psyduck, Quagsire, and Swablu. Accompanying this release, a repost campaign on the official BOSS account will give away themed merchandise in two rounds. Round one (September 1-14) offers five Psyduck Forget Pillows, while round two (September 18 to October 1) offers five Quagsire Bog Cushions. These prizes are designed to help fans relax at home or during work breaks. The collaboration offers plenty of variety for Pokemon fans who also enjoy their daily coffee.
