Pokémon 30th Anniversary T-Shirt Collection Launches March 23 at UNIQLO
UNIQLO’s graphic T-shirt brand UT has announced a special Pokémon 30th anniversary collection launching on March 23, 2026. The collection features watercolor-style artwork that symbolizes the original Pokémon world, with designs showcasing fan-favorite characters like Pikachu, Charizard, and Gengar. The collection includes five designs for men and five for kids, allowing families to wear matching outfits. Additionally, a special interview with Pokémon fan and global entertainer Naomi Watanabe was released on March 4, discussing her experiences with the franchise.
The T-shirts utilize watercolor-touch artwork that captures the soft color palette and hand-drawn atmosphere from when Pokémon was first created. This artistic approach creates a nostalgic experience for adults who grew up with the original games while offering children fresh, warm expressions of the beloved characters. The designs are described as generation-spanning, appealing to both longtime fans and new audiences. The collection aims to be easily incorporated into daily styling while celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary milestone.

The men’s T-shirts will be available in five designs priced at 1,990 yen (~$14) in sizes ranging from XS to 4XL. Kids’ T-shirts also feature five designs at 990 yen (~$7) in sizes from 100cm to 160cm. The collection will be sold at UNIQLO stores nationwide and through online retailers, though sizes 100, XS, XXL, 3XL, and 4XL will be exclusively available online. The UT magazine Issue 13 featuring the collection will be distributed starting March 6 at UT flagship stores worldwide.

Beyond the T-shirt collection, the promotion includes a special interview with Naomi Watanabe that explores her first encounters with Pokémon and how she enjoys the franchise today. The interview also touches on her life choices as a globally active entertainer. The UT magazine distribution beginning March 6 will reach international markets, making this anniversary collection accessible to Pokémon fans around the world. With its family-friendly designs and nostalgic watercolor artwork, this collection offers a tangible way for fans to celebrate three decades of Pokémon history.
