Gigabyte AORUS DAY Guangzhou Event Showcases Gaming and AI Hardware
Gigabyte AORUS, in partnership with Intel, hosted the AORUS DAY fan experience event in Guangzhou on June 13, 2026. The event was structured around two main themes: eSports gaming experiences and AI creation, featuring immersive technology zones and a stage performance. Attendees were able to test a range of high-performance hardware setups while engaging with interactive activities, combining hardware demonstrations with entertainment for an audience of PC gaming enthusiasts and technology fans.
The event featured five gaming experience zones running titles such as Delta Force, Ananta, and Forza Horizon 6. The setups were powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processors paired with Gigabyte Z890 AORUS ELITE DUO X motherboards. The systems leveraged Intel’s performance optimization suite to improve frame rates in supported titles by an average of 8%, with peak improvements reaching up to 22%. The motherboard’s 16+1+2 phase power design and D5 DUO X memory support enabled configurations with up to 256GB of total capacity.
A dedicated AI creation area showcased a professional productivity platform built around the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Gigabyte Z890 AORUS MASTER motherboard, and RTX 5090 D MASTER 32G graphics card. The GPU’s fifth-generation Tensor cores and 32GB of VRAM allowed the system to run large-scale AI models like Flux and Sora-class tasks smoothly. AIGC expert Chen Xin attended the event to demonstrate AI-powered imaging applications and guided participants in creating their own AI-generated badges.
The event featured six themed interactive zones offering hands-on activities for visitors. A stage performance included a cosplay showcase by popular content creator Qitaro, who appeared in character as the AORUS mascot alongside other performers in maid and Chinese traditional style costumes. The performance marked the official opening of the event’s interactive festivities. With the conclusion of the show, the AORUS DAY event wrapped up, highlighting the company’s continued investment in both gaming and AI hardware ecosystems.
