Evangelion XR Game Details to be Revealed at 30th Anniversary Event
Pixelity Inc. will reveal new information about their upcoming XR game ‘EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS’ at the ‘EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION’ event on February 23, 2026. The developer will host a special stage presentation at the Yokohama Arena event from 14:00 to 14:30 in the ‘EVA EXTRA 30’ lounge. The presentation will feature producer Che explaining the game’s concepts, systems, and the new XR technology experiences. Additionally, voice actors for the game’s original characters will participate in talk sessions, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and recording anecdotes.
EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS is an immersive XR game that intersects with the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Set in Tokyo-3 and NERV headquarters, players take on the role of a NERV officer cadet who works alongside both main Evangelion characters and original game characters. The narrative follows the player’s personal growth story as they face challenges, make choices, and develop their skills. The game promises to deliver a unique experience where players become part of the Evangelion universe through XR technology.
The game offers two distinct play modes that players can freely choose between. Story Mode focuses on experiencing the narrative, while Battle Mode specializes in combat scenarios. Battle Mode particularly emphasizes dynamic action and satisfying battles set within NERV’s simulation environments, leveraging VR technology for immersive experiences. During the anniversary event, Pixelity’s booth will offer hands-on demo experiences through a lottery system, with walk-up opportunities potentially available depending on booth conditions.
The presentation stage requires either an ‘ALL AREA Pass’ or an ‘EVA EXTRA 30 Ticket’ valid for entry by 14:00 on February 23.
