Drecom Creators Studio Announces Three Indie Titles Ahead of TGS 2026
DRECOM CREATORS STUDIO, the indie game label run by Tokyo-based publisher Drecom, has unveiled its first three publishing titles: SF time-travel adventure TIMEMOON, horror puzzle platformer Beautiful Life Show, and build-and-construction adventure Chiru Planet (散るプラネット). All three were announced together, accompanied by a promotional video. The studio, whose mission is to discover and nurture game creators and deliver their works to the world, will carry all three titles to Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs September 17-21 at Makuhari Messe, with the 17th and 18th set aside as business days.
Developed by Kenkou Land, TIMEMOON casts players as a taxi driver on the Moon whose vehicle doubles as a time machine. The core objective is solving the mystery behind a presidential assassination by ferrying passengers into the past. Who players choose to transport, and where, accumulates into a branching narrative that changes course with each decision, making repeat playthroughs a source of fresh discoveries. The adventure is presented in intricately detailed pixel art, with a carefully built world that strengthens the immersion of exploration. Passengers’ backgrounds and feelings are gradually unraveled as the story is retraced, and delivering each character with the right intent opens new narrative paths.
From developer Fukudanuki, Beautiful Life Show is a side-view horror action adventure in the puzzle platformer vein. Players become the star of a bizarre show and must clear a series of deadly trials. Its signature “death-sense action” mechanic rewinds the previous three seconds, letting players act alongside their own replay ghost — a copy of themselves from just before. The stage is defined by surreal, unsettling visuals and a dark, hard-boiled atmosphere that heightens tension and immersion. Controls remain simple, but reading each trap correctly decides between life and death, testing both intuition and logic across the show’s layered challenges.
Developer aozorite’s Chiru Planet (散るプラネット) is a build-and-construction adventure about girls crossing Japan for Hokkaido in a world doomed to be destroyed by a meteor. Players gather items, assemble builds, and play cards to advance their journey, with a calm atmosphere that feels like an extension of everyday life despite the apocalyptic setting. Character interactions among Hinako Ohara, Ai Akasaka, Ruri Mitsumori, and Sui Shimabukuro are a highlight. All three titles will appear at Tokyo Game Show 2026, with booth details and playable lineup to be announced later, and the studio has scheduled another new publishing title for reveal in October 2026. With such a varied debut slate, this is a studio lineup worth watching.
