Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth DLC3 Anti-ParadoX Launches March 12
Bandai Namco and developer Media.Vision have officially announced that the third DLC for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, titled “Anti-ParadoX,” will launch on March 12, 2026. The expansion will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms, with Switch 2 and Switch versions scheduled for release on July 9, 2026 in Japan and July 10 globally. Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition will receive the DLC for free, while others can purchase it separately or through a season pass. The DLC introduces significant content additions including new Ultimate Digimon evolution paths, story chapters, and gameplay optimizations.
The DLC adds five new Ultimate Digimon evolution paths, including fan-favorite characters like Omegamon (X Antibody) and Magnamon (X Antibody). According to data mining, the base game already features 451 different Digimon, and DLC3 will further expand this collection. The evolution conditions have been streamlined through the “Agent Skill” system, which helps adjust Digimon parameters and personality compatibility to make achieving evolution requirements more accessible. The core story revolves around the “Anti-ParadoX” theme, featuring exclusive chapters for characters Asuna Shiromine and Monica Simmons that focus on events related to the Olympian Twelve Gods and explore temporal paradoxes caused by intersecting timelines.
Beyond story content, DLC3 includes balance adjustments to the combat system. Following previous updates from October 10, this expansion continues optimization efforts to ensure dynamic balance among the 450+ Digimon in terms of attributes and skills. A new “Digital Attack” mechanism intelligently selects optimal skills during battles—if an attack can clear the field in one hit, the battle skips directly to victory; otherwise, it proceeds to turn-based combat, adding strategic depth. Producer Ryosuke Hara emphasized that the DLC design accommodates both new and experienced players with features like automatic HP/SP recovery lowering the entry barrier while maintaining challenging content for veterans.
The Switch 2 version will launch with all previously released DLC content included, ensuring seamless cross-platform experiences. Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners receive bonus items including the “Cyber Sleuth Set” costume and “Golden Moai Statue” farm decoration. The Ultimate Edition additionally includes special evolution paths for Agumon and Gabumon, allowing players to cultivate “Agumon – Bond of Courage -” and “Gabumon – Bond of Friendship -.” Regarding the fixed participation of Aegiochusmon, the development team noted that while it cannot be completely removed, players can adjust its combat role through custom accessory skills, and its growth potential will significantly increase as the story progresses. With its expanded evolution options and time-travel narrative, Anti-ParadoX offers substantial new content for Digimon Story fans.
