Gran Turismo 7 has rolled out its 1.69 update today, adding three new vehicles to its roster, chief among them the BYD Yangwang U9. This marks the first time a Chinese supercar has been featured in the acclaimed racing simulator, with the vehicle recreated through 1:1 high-precision modeling. The update went live globally at 14:00 today, giving players worldwide immediate access to this landmark addition. The Yangwang U9 is positioned as a million-level pure electric performance supercar, powered by BYD’s Yi Sifang and Yun Nian-X core technologies. Its four electric motors deliver a combined output of 960kW and 1,680Nm of torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.36 seconds.
