Bunny Garden 2 Release Date Set for April 16 with New Cast Reveal
Developer qureate has announced that Bunny Garden 2 will launch on April 16, 2026 for Nintendo Switch and PC platforms. The announcement also introduces two new cast members joining the bunny-themed dating simulation game. Kurone, voiced by Ruriko Noguchi, and Runa, voiced by Hina Natsume, bring distinct personalities to the establishment. The game is priced at 3,480 yen (~$25) and features a 10% discount during the pre-order period and for three weeks after release, available until May 7, 2026.
Kurone is described as a mysterious and bewitching character whose words and actions are difficult to read, leaving players uncertain whether she’s joking or serious. She approaches suddenly only to distance herself moments later with meaningful words, creating an elusive charm that feels like she’s testing the player. Runa presents as a cheeky, devilish bunny with distinctive speech patterns and an attitude that draws attention. She often seems to be testing people with her phrasing while carefully observing their reactions, occasionally revealing knowing smiles that suggest hidden secrets.
The game introduces special “cosplay events” where cast members wear different outfits than their usual attire, including oversized Y-shirts and baby dolls. These limited-time special outfits are described as rewards exclusively for gentlemen, offering a glimpse of the characters’ new charms. Additionally, as players grow closer to cast members, they can be invited to “after-hours” activities or “accompaniment” events before opening hours. These outside dates provide opportunities to experience different sides of the characters away from the shop environment.
Bunny Garden 2 is a sequel to the pure-hearted gentlemen’s love adventure game, featuring full Japanese voice acting and support for Japanese, English, and Chinese (both traditional and simplified) text. The game carries a CERO D rating. Character design is handled by Kazune Inui, with scenario writing by Takayoshi Muto and original concept/production by Yujiro Usuda. The game is available for digital download only on Nintendo Switch.
