Ubisoft has officially unveiled the Chinese-language预告 trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Remastered (《刺客信条4:黑旗 记忆重置》), confirming the game will launch on July 9. The remastered edition is being built on an upgraded version of the Anvil engine, delivering significant visual improvements while overhauling core gameplay systems to meet modern AAA standards. The announcement trailer showcases the game’s enhanced visuals and teases the refined mechanics that await returning fans and new players alike.
The remaster introduces a reworked combat system with an emphasis on parrying and execution mechanics, creating more dynamic and impactful encounters. Stealth and parkour have also been improved, making assassinations and escapes smoother and more fluid than the original release. These refinements aim to modernize the gameplay loop while preserving the core identity that fans of the series have come to expect.

Naval combat receives significant attention in this remaster, with players able to continue upgrading the iconic Jackdaw ship. Deepened naval mechanics and a new secondary firing mode have been added, allowing captains to engage tougher enemy vessels with greater tactical options. The development team has also addressed several pain points from the original experience, ensuring a more polished adventure from start to finish.

According to Ubisoft, the remaster aims to deliver a thoroughly modernized Black Flag experience while retaining the pirate adventure spirit of the original. The upgraded Anvil engine brings enhanced visuals and performance across the board. With its July 9 release date now locked in, this remaster looks to be a compelling way to revisit or discover one of the most beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed series for the first time.
