Apex Season 30: Bloodhound Rework and World’s Edge Revamp Revealed
Electronic Arts has announced that Apex Legends Season 30, titled Marked, will launch on August 5, 2026 at 2:00 AM JST. The new season brings a comprehensive rework to Bloodhound, a major overhaul to World’s Edge, and the introduction of a new red attachment system called Corrupted. Ahead of the launch, developers held an online presentation for media outlets detailing the changes. The season aims to streamline the looting experience while giving players more aggressive tactical options, particularly through Bloodhound’s transformation from a support-focused Recon legend into a proactive hunter capable of leading squad-wide assaults.
Bloodhound’s ultimate ability has been replaced with All-Father’s Cloak, which renders the entire squad invisible within a deployed area. The ability grants increased movement speed and highlights enemies in red for easier visibility. The invisibility persists briefly even after leaving the area to enable flanking maneuvers, though shooting or taking damage cancels the effect. Passive tracking now leaves glowing trails behind enemies, and the white raven responds to the player’s gaze rather than requiring button activation. The tactical scan duration has been extended and now includes periodic auto-scans, allowing continuous enemy tracking during firefights. Upgrade options include Hidden Sight, which charges the tactical ability on ultimate activation, and Troop Predator, which allows re-cloaking after firing weapons.

World’s Edge receives a significant structural overhaul for Season 30. Three new Points of Interest are added: East Village, featuring Nordic architecture inspired by Bloodhound’s tribal heritage; War Camp, designed for arena-style engagements; and Tree Settlement, emphasizing vertical gameplay. The beloved Sorting Factory returns from earlier seasons, and Rampart’s Big Maude has been relocated near Landslide. The new red attachment Corrupted offers stat trade-offs. For example, the Rapid Sniper Stock increases the Triple Take’s fire rate by 22 and reload speed by 0.3 seconds while reducing magazine size by one. Weapon stats are now visibly displayed, showing both benefits and drawbacks of each attachment. Support and assault class supply box bonuses have been removed, and wildlife loot sources are being cut.

According to developers, Bloodhound’s rework was driven by the need to modernize one of the game’s original legends, similar to Lifeline’s previous overhaul. Loba receives cooldown reductions on her Black Market ultimate and increased tactical ability range, while Rampart gains faster movement while firing Sheila and improved barricade placement. The Season Pack Marked features a Mythic CAR skin called All-Father’s Wrath, an evolutionary skin with five tiers of customization unlocked via Exotic Shards, featuring feather and wing designs. The Battle Pass offers legendary skins for Bloodhound, Caustic, and the Mozambique, with premium pass holders earning an evolutionary R-301 skin at tier 60. This update looks set to significantly shake up the meta when it arrives next week.
