Street Fighter 6 Reveals Get Ready for Ingrid Pass Ahead of May Launch

Capcom has released a new trailer for the Street Fighter 6 “Get Ready for Ingrid” battle pass, confirming that the mysterious fighter wielding “sun power” will join the roster on May 28 across all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2. This marks the conclusion of the game’s Year 3 content cycle. The pass serves as a pre-release progression system allowing players to earn character-related rewards, limited cosmetics, and in-game currency ahead of Ingrid’s official arrival. Players who hold the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will receive the fighter automatically on launch day.
Capcom has detailed three ways to access Ingrid and her content. Players holding the Year 3 Character Pass receive the character for free along with Outfit 1 color variants 3 through 10 and 3,000 Drive Tickets. Those with the Year 3 Ultimate Pass get the full package: all three outfits (Outfit 1, 2, and 3), each with 10 color variants, a brand-new stage themed around the Sun Temple, and 5,800 Drive Tickets. Ingrid and her associated costumes can also be purchased individually using Fighter Coins, available for players who do not own a season pass.

Ingrid arrives with three distinct outfits. Outfit 1 is a modern battle suit featuring a short skirt and midriff-baring top designed by Capcom specifically for Street Fighter 6 to emphasize her small, agile frame. Outfit 2 recreates her iconic purple sailor uniform from her debut in 2004, unlockable through the World Tour mode with 10 color variants. Outfit 3 is exclusive to the Year 3 Ultimate Pass, blending divine and futuristic aesthetics with 10 color options. Drive Tickets earned through the pass can be exchanged for in-game items, color variants, and battle currency.

Ingrid first appeared in 2004’s Capcom Fighting Jam, later appearing in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX in 2006. She is described as a legendary character who carries the “Isis Emblem,” granting her immortality and control over solar energy. Standing at 152 cm with a petite frame, blonde hair, and red eyes, she is known for her playful yet ancient demeanor, often referring to herself in an elder’s tone. Her combat style focuses on mid-to-long range control with her unique Sun Crests mechanic, which stores up to four layers of solar energy to enhance special moves and super arts, offering high mobility and damage output. The Sun Temple stage, exclusive to Ultimate Pass holders, features light effects and spatial destruction mechanics that complement her abilities. After 20 years, it is good to see Ingrid finally entering the mainline Street Fighter series in a substantial way.
