Star Wars: Zero Company Receives 15+ Rating in Korea, Release Date Hinted

A new Star Wars tactical strategy game is quietly moving toward launch. Developed by Bit Reactor, Star Wars: Zero Company received a 15+ rating from South Korea’s GRAC (Game Rating and Administration Committee) on April 30, citing realistic violence and weapon content. The same listing also shows an ESRB rating of T (Teen). The game is a turn-based tactical strategy title inspired by the XCOM series, set during the Clone Wars era.
Two ratings appearing in quick succession often indicate that a release date announcement is approaching. With Star Wars: Zero Company targeting a launch within this year and the Summer Game Fest showcase event scheduled for early June, many observers are speculating that the official release date will be revealed at that event. The game had previously been announced with a broad 2026 release window.

Players will take on the role of a former Republic officer named Hawks, assembling a squad to face an emerging threat. Set against the backdrop of the Clone Wars, the game sends players to various planets to complete missions, where squad members do not always get along with one another. The gameplay draws clear inspiration from XCOM, featuring procedurally generated enemy positions and a permanent death mechanic that raises the stakes for every tactical decision.

Star Wars: Zero Company is being developed for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Bit Reactor, the studio behind the game, was founded by former XCOM developers, which explains the strong tactical DNA visible in the project. With more information expected as June approaches and the Summer Game Fest on the horizon, fans of tactical strategy games and the Star Wars universe may not have to wait much longer for concrete details. This is shaping up to be one to watch for strategy enthusiasts.
