Phantom Blade Zero Hits 474K Estimates; GTA 6 Leak Recalled

A busy October 18 roundup from Chinese outlet Ali213 opened with third-party sales estimates for Phantom Blade Zero, followed by new comments from Rockstar about the 2022 GTA 6 leak. The remaining stories covered a Warcraft-inspired bionic robot from a Chinese robotics company, the first major patch for Immortal Legacy, and a production detail behind Resident Evil 9’s heroine. The sales figures come from analytics platform Gamalytic and reflect the period since pre-orders opened, while Rockstar’s art director revisited the fallout of a breach that pushed unfinished work into public view.
Gamalytic estimates that Phantom Blade Zero has moved roughly 473,500 units on the PC platform since pre-orders began, generating about $28.4 million (~¥189 million). Because of statistical modeling, the estimate carries a wide range of 236,700 to 710,200 copies. The platform also projects 718,600 units and $34.5 million (~¥245 million) in revenue during the game’s first month. The title currently sits at around 119,000 followers and ranks sixth on global wishlists, with Chinese players making up 81.6% of the audience and US players 1.5%. All figures remain third-party estimates rather than official numbers.

Rockstar art director Aaron Garbut discussed the 2022 GTA 6 leak again in a recent interview reported by GameRant. That year, a hacker used phishing to gain access to Rockstar’s internal communication channel and published large amounts of in-development footage before the game had reached its public reveal. The breach triggered legal action against the hacker, but also prompted players to criticize visuals taken from unfinished material. Garbut compared the experience to someone rifling through his personal belongings or forcing their way into his mind, describing a strong sense of intrusion and saying the sudden exposure of years of work hit him hard emotionally.

Chinese company First Shape Technology, founded by Columbia robotics and AI PhD Hu Yuhang, revealed a bionic humanoid robot modeled on a newly introduced race from World of Warcraft, complete with pale blue hair, pointed ears, gaze tracking, micro-expressions, and body movement. Separately, developer One More Level pushed Immortal Legacy’s first major update, version 1.004 on consoles, fixing save failures after Chapter 4 cutscenes, a Chapter 12 progression block, the Chapter 5 side quest “In the Name of Art,” and Xbox graphical issues. CGWORLD’s November 2026 issue also reported that the Resident Evil 9 team built a physical wig for heroine Grace as a reference for its Strand Hair system. For Phantom Blade Zero, the estimates are encouraging but unverified — launch day remains the real test.
