Japanese Ramen Simulator Delayed; New Closed Beta Announced
The release of Japanese Ramen Simulator, a ramen shop management simulation for PC, has been delayed from its original September 28, 2026 launch date. On October 2, the developers shared a follow-up update explaining the current situation. The game is currently awaiting the results of a pre-release review, and no finalized release date has been set. The title was originally planned to arrive on PC, and the team says it will announce a new release date once the review process is completed and approved.
The follow-up report states that the recent review raised two specific points: controller support settings and cloud synchronization. According to the update, both issues have already been addressed and resubmitted for approval. A new release date and time will be confirmed only after the review passes, and the announcement will be made through the game’s official channels. No final timeline has been shared yet, leaving the launch window open until the pending approval is fully resolved.

Alongside an apology for the delay, the team announced a fourth closed beta test intended to verify performance and gather improvements ahead of launch. Up to 1,000 new participants will be selected by lottery, and applicants must complete authentication through the associated online community and PC platform accounts. Applications opened on Friday, October 2 at 21:00 and close on Saturday, October 3 at 20:00. First-round results and key distribution begin October 3 at 21:00, with keys valid until October 4 at 21:00. The test itself runs from October 3 at 21:00 until the full release, with an end date to be confirmed.

Japanese Ramen Simulator lets players experience the full routine of running a ramen shop, from preparation and cooking to serving and customer service. It supports both first-person and third-person perspectives, and players can focus on details such as soup temperature while developing original menu items. Unpredictable events include visits from ramen critics, thieves targeting the cash register, and fires. The beta build adds a part-time employee who helps wash dishes, along with new ramen varieties. The delay is unfortunate, but the beta at least gives curious players an early chance to try the current build.
