iQOO Pad Pro 8.8-Inch Gaming Tablet Launches October 28

iQOO has confirmed that its next tablet, the iQOO Pad Pro, will be officially unveiled on October 28. The company is marketing the 8.8-inch device as a “pocket gaming beast,” a compact slate built specifically around gaming scenarios rather than general productivity. The teaser positions the Pad Pro as a smaller alternative to the oversized tablets that have dominated the premium segment, pairing flagship-tier silicon with a screen size designed to stay portable. iQOO has not yet announced pricing or regional availability, and the teaser focuses on hardware rather than software features.
According to iQOO, the Pad Pro uses an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, aimed at fast-paced titles. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8E5 flagship platform, built on TSMC’s 3nm (N3P) process with a 2+6 all-big-core Oryon architecture — two 4.6GHz Prime cores paired with six 3.62GHz performance cores. iQOO cites single-core gains of 20 percent and multi-core gains of 17 percent. A self-developed Q3 gaming chip handles dedicated gaming duties, while a 9020mAh battery sits inside the chassis.

The Pad Pro packs what iQOO calls an Ice Dome quadruple air cooling system, which combines a VC vapor chamber, dual-layer graphite, an active fan, and high-conductivity materials. The company says the setup delivers efficient heat dissipation despite the device measuring just 5.74mm thick. The whole tablet weighs 298g, which iQOO presents as a balance between a thin, light body and sustained performance under load. No battery life figures or charging specifications were included in the teaser.
iQOO also detailed its self-developed Q-flex control technology, paired with ultra-sensitive touch input and a gyroscope. The system is tuned for four-finger micro-controls on the 8.8-inch screen, with the company claiming that flick shots and snap aiming feel more responsive. The pitch is clear: a small tablet that handles competitive mobile shooters without forcing players onto a larger, heavier device. For gamers who want a compact, controller-free setup, this is one worth keeping an eye on when the full details land on October 28.
