Invokyr Co-op Dice Horror Launches Early Access October 8
Shochiku Games has announced that it will serve as co-publisher for Invokyr (Japanese title: インボキア-呪いのダイスゲーム-), a cooperative survival horror title from French studio Ludogram. The early access version is set to launch on PC on October 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM Japan time, priced at ¥1,200 including tax, roughly $8 (~¥57). The announcement confirms that the game’s Japanese title has been finalized alongside the release timing. Invokyr places up to six players inside a living, cursed board game controlled by a mysterious Game Master.
According to the publisher, players are manipulated by a mysterious “Game Master” and step onto a cursed board that has been brought to life. Participants join an unpredictable game where they must navigate constantly shifting horror scenes, life-threatening traps, and a curse, searching for a way to survive. Reaching the goal grants a chance at escape. The title supports online multiplayer for up to six players, allowing teams to cooperate or abandon one another as they confront the terror together.

The game features over 15 types of monsters and more than 20 events, with dynamic rules and randomized situations producing unpredictable outcomes with each run. To overcome these trials, players can use more than 12 types of dice, each with different effects, along with cursed statues that grant special abilities. However, the publisher notes that great power carries equally high risk. Players can also purchase upgrade items and various gadgets to steadily strengthen their abilities ahead of upcoming challenges.

A playable demo released in June 2026 has surpassed one million cumulative downloads and earned a “Very Positive” rating on the PC platform. The demo supports up to four simultaneous players. A promotional campaign running October 3 to 7 will give ten winners a set of three multiplayer codes, with distribution planned for launch day. Ludogram is a French indie studio founded by four game enthusiasts, based in Lille with a team of roughly 20, while Shochiku Games began operations in June 2024. For genre fans, this early access launch looks worth watching.
