Free-to-Play FPS Sudden Attack Zero Point Launches Early Access on PC
NEXON has officially launched early access for Sudden Attack Zero Point, a free-to-play online FPS for PC, beginning today July 30, 2026. The title is a full remaster of the classic Sudden Attack, which originally ran in Japan from 2007 to 2019. Built on a modern game engine, the game receives a complete visual overhaul while preserving the classic bomb defusal mode and the high-tempo, tactical gunplay that defined the original series. The user interface, control schemes, and core systems have all been updated to meet contemporary standards while maintaining the familiar feel of the original.
Sudden Attack Zero Point leverages the latest game engine technology to deliver a significant graphical upgrade over its predecessor. The UI and controls have been refreshed for modern players, yet the core gameplay loop stays true to the classic experience. Fans can jump into fast-paced bomb defusal missions that recreate the intensity of the 2007 original, now rendered with improved visuals, smoother performance, and a cleaner interface that makes the action easier to follow.

A new weapon customization system has been introduced, giving players the ability to modify components including magazines, stocks, scopes, barrels, muzzle attachments, and grips, alongside cosmetic skin options. A dedicated trading system also allows players to exchange in-game items with one another, offering an alternative method to build and refine their loadout beyond standard progression or random acquisition.

According to NEXON, more game modes will be added to Sudden Attack Zero Point gradually during early access, indicating that the current build serves as a foundation for a broader experience. For those who fondly remember the original or enjoy classic tactical shooters, this remaster offers a polished way to revisit familiar battlegrounds. The promise of rolling out more content over time makes this early access launch worth following closely.
