Famitsu Editorial Team to Present 2026 Must-Buy Games on TV Special
Famitsu has announced a special collaboration with the Japanese game variety show Ariyoshi iii eeeee! for its August 9, 2026 broadcast. The special segment, titled Famitsu Editorial Team’s Picks: 2026 Must-Buy Games SP, will showcase the titles that editors of Weekly Famitsu and Famitsu.com consider essential purchases this year. The selection spans noteworthy releases from the first half of 2026 as well as highly anticipated titles scheduled for the second half. Famitsu, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding in June 2026, is providing full cooperation for this episode.
Editors from Weekly Famitsu and Famitsu.com will appear in video segments during the program, delivering passionate commentary on the appeal of each selected game. In addition, Weekly Famitsu editor-in-chief Sagawa Hiroko will join the studio to engage in game talk alongside the show’s regular cast.
