This places it just behind Resident Evil Requiem (9.4) and ahead of Pokemon Pokopia (8.5). The developer’s responsive approach to addressing player concerns appears to have paid dividends in community perception, though media reviews tell a different story.
Following player discussions about Crimson Desert’s initial shortcomings, Pearl Abyss implemented several crucial updates. These included resolving inventory management issues where limited backpack capacity had been a major obstacle at launch. The studio also improved the user interface and control schemes while adjusting fast travel point locations across the massive game world to facilitate better resource management. These changes, rolled out starting March 22-23, represent only part of the planned improvements according to the developer.
