The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Announces 15th Anniversary General Election
Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the “15th Anniversary Cinderella Girl General Election 2026” for The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, marking the first such event in approximately three years since “Stage for Cinderella.” Scheduled for August 2026, the election will be conducted via web voting. The first announced reward is an xR live performance featuring the top five ranking idols. Additional rewards will be revealed sequentially. The announcement coincides with the launch of a “Cinderella Girl General Election Support Song Series” and the production of merchandise featuring 190 newly drawn illustrations.
The general election will be held in August 2026 using a web voting format. The primary incentive for participation is the confirmed xR live event, where the top five idols from the vote will perform. Bandai Namco has also released a special promotional video for the election. Further details regarding voting procedures and additional rewards for participants will be disclosed gradually on the official channels, building anticipation for the 15th-anniversary celebration.

To commemorate the election, a support song series has been initiated. The first song, titled “Cinderella No.1,” is performed by idols Anzu Futaba, Eve Santaclaus, and Ranko Kanzaki. The song, which debuted during a live stream, is designed as a self-introduction song with unique lyrics prepared for each of the 190 idols in the franchise. On March 23, 2026, at 20:00, specially edited videos for all 190 idols will premiere, each concluding with the reveal of their specific song lyrics.

Alongside the election, the production of 190 new character visuals has been confirmed, which will be used for related merchandise. A comprehensive portal site aggregating information on songs, events, and idols is also planned, with some idols’ new casual wear visuals set for an early reveal. The return of the general election after a three-year hiatus represents a significant new development for the franchise as it celebrates its 15th anniversary, promising fresh engagement for its dedicated fanbase.
