Idolmaster Million Live 11th Concert Features Roco’s Solo Debut
The Idolmaster Million Live! 11thLIVE concert series kicked off on March 14, 2026 at Kitakyushu Messe in Fukuoka Prefecture with a special performance titled “Atelier ROCOMOTION!!” starring the idol Roco, voiced by Atsuki Nakamura. This marked the debut of a new format where each 11th Live event features one of the 39 idols as the main star. The concert was originally scheduled for November 2024 but was rescheduled, making this a long-awaited event for fans. The performance included the live debut of Roco’s specially created solo song “COLORS ON CANVAS!” which featured a surprise costume change effect during the performance.
A unique feature of the concert was the “Atelier Roco Paint” segment where professional illustrators sashimi and misa created live portraits of Roco during the show. The segment took an unexpected turn when Harashima Akari, who voices Nakaoku Iku, appeared under the pseudonym “Akarin” as the third illustrator. Cast members joked about recognizing her while she maintained her character, creating humorous moments. The finished illustrations were so impressive that merchandise featuring the artwork was announced for future release.
The concert featured an extensive setlist of 24 songs spanning various musical styles from pop to rap. Opening with Roco’s first solo song “IMPRESSION→LOCOMOTION!”, the performance included highlights like “fruity love” by Nakamura and Ogahara, “Sweet Sweet Soul” with special rap lyrics, and “ART NEEDS HEART BEATS” where all cast members performed a surprise costume change. Other notable performances included “Shamrock Vivace” with musical theater elements and “Colorful Days” where members sang according to their assigned image colors.
During the encore, Nakamura expressed gratitude to fans who waited over a year and four months for the rescheduled concert, becoming emotional while thanking producers. She also mentioned receiving support from fellow cast member Imai Asami during the postponement period. The concert concluded with “DIAMOND DAYS” and the traditional “Aimasu desu yo, Aimasu!” closing phrase. This successful event sets the stage for future idol-focused concerts in the series, with Day 2 featuring Yurika as the main star. The artistic setlist and unique live painting segment made this a memorable experience for Roco’s dedicated fans.
