Honor of Kings World Launches on PC Today, Mobile Versions Coming This Month

Honor of Kings World, the multiplayer adventure game developed by TiMi Studio Group, officially launched on PC platforms today, April 10th. The game’s release fulfills the “Spring 2026” promise made during last year’s Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary celebration. Players begin their adventure in the “Jixia” region as “Yuanliu Children,” exploring familiar yet previously inaccessible areas of the Honor of Kings universe alongside beloved heroes. The launch follows months of anticipation and discussion among the gaming community, marking a significant expansion beyond the traditional MOBA battlefield.
Players will encounter numerous creatures from the original MOBA, including River Spirits, Red Hawks, and the familiar Red and Blue Buff monsters now known as Scarlet Beast and Azure Beast. Previously mentioned but unexplored locations like Fengyunye and Qimen Shuixie are fully realized, offering complete environmental experiences. As the Jixia storyline unfolds, heroes from the academy make their appearance outside the traditional battlefield, allowing players to witness pivotal moments in their development. Character-specific story missions, such as Dongfang Yao’s “Stellar Awakening” quest, reveal deeper aspects of these familiar faces while delivering iconic character moments.

The game’s action combat system is built around Honor of Kings heroes, adapting their abilities for 3D environments with Z-axis movement. Heroes are categorized into three roles—Strong Attack, Confrontation, and Support—based on their original MOBA lane assignments. A unique “Resonance” system allows players to simultaneously utilize abilities from two different heroes, creating strategic combinations like Garo and Kai’s ranged/melee pairing. Combat incorporates verticality, with heroes like Mengya able to attack from the air while avoiding ground-based threats. Enemy encounters feature mechanics like red-light warnings for high-threat attacks and weak points on larger foes that can be targeted for tactical advantages.

Beyond solo exploration, players can bring their Honor of Kings friends into the world, maintaining existing friendship levels from the MOBA. Social interactions include photography features for sharing moments, cooperative puzzle-solving, and various leisure activities like fireworks displays and musical performances. The launch coincides with a special crossover event in the original Honor of Kings MOBA, featuring updated voice lines, transformed monsters, and Easter eggs referencing the new game’s prologue. Honor of Kings World supports cross-platform progression between PC, iOS, and Android, with mobile versions scheduled for release later in April. This ambitious expansion successfully translates the beloved IP into a rich, interactive world that should appeal to both competitive and social players alike.
