Happinet TGS 2026 Lineup: CoD MW4, Melty Blood, Game Freak RPG
Happinet has unveiled its Tokyo Game Show 2026 exhibition plans, including playable titles and campaign details. The event runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and the publisher’s main booth in Hall 6 will offer more than 13 playable games, with additional unrevealed titles slated to be announced later. Happinet will also appear in the Hall 9 indie game corner and at the Family Game Park at TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall. Photo spots, cosplay appearances, and various campaigns are planned across the booth spaces.
Headlining the booth is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, with its multiplayer mode available for play. Due to its CERO Z rating, the demo is restricted to attendees aged 18 and older. A digital message board corner will let visitors write their support and thoughts about the game, creating a collaborative piece among attendees. MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA, a renewed take on the 2D fighting game based on TYPE-MOON’s visual novel, will also be playable in versus matches, with novelties distributed to those who try it. The updated title features an evolved battle system, new characters, and a scenario written by Kinoko Nasu.

Game Freak’s brand-new action RPG Beast of Linkarnation is set in post-apocalyptic Japan, following Emma, a girl stripped of memories and emotions and shunned as an impure one, alongside her companion, the corrosion dog Kuu. The game fuses real-time action with command-based RPG combat, and a photo spot featuring a life-size Kuu will be available. Elsewhere, a Dreamcom-developed title set in a Tokyo where everyone has vanished will display themed decorations and character panels for Suz and Yuno, while a mythology-and-yokai title offers an omikuji fortune-telling campaign with character-based novelties and cosplayers of Kushinada and Tamamo. A fantasy war simulation will also feature a faction diagnosis activity for visitors.

In Hall 9, Happinet’s indie corner will feature Switch 2 versions of announced titles, one unrevealed playable game, and selected titles from the Happinet Indie Collection, with details arriving via a press release on August 28. To mark the show, a collaboration campaign will give one winner a bundle including a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (Japanese-only console language, model CFI-2200B01), a GigaCrysta gaming monitor (LCD-GD243UDB-F), and a disc drive; entries run from August 27 to September 21 by following official accounts and reposting the campaign post. With multiplayer, versus fighting, and a life-size dog photo op under one roof, Happinet’s booth looks like one of TGS 2026’s busiest stops — a solid pick for fans of any of these franchises.
