Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu Gets First Playable Demo at TGS 2026
G-MODE has confirmed its plans for Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17-21 at Makuhari Messe, where it will hold the first playable demo of Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu (配信少女ノ裏垢迷宮), its upcoming secret-account labyrinth novel RPG scheduled to launch in 2026. The trial is a special TGS edit of the story’s opening and offers roughly ten minutes of fully voiced play, with a never-before-shown special music video also included. A recording of the demo will be published at a later date for players who cannot attend. G-MODE added that one more title will be on display at its booth, with details to follow.
Each visitor to the booth gets about ten minutes with the development build, which the publisher says showcases the cast’s appeal through a fully voiced presentation. Because the trial is still in development, it supports Japanese only and may differ from the final product. G-MODE also cautioned that play time and booth operations could change without notice when the venue is crowded. For those who cannot make it to the event, the publisher intends to release a playthrough video of the trial version afterward.
The game follows girls band Ragdrops and its celebrated vocalist Neon, whose popularity has spread widely across social networks. When news of Neon’s death is reported, the internet is thrown into turmoil, and a mysterious secret account calling itself Poison Apple levels accusations at the band. Dragged into an unprecedented online firestorm, the members grow suspicious of one another before their smartphones suddenly glow, pulling them into Ura U, an otherworld where the darkness of social media has taken form. This opening story is brought to life in the demo through its full-voice script.
Published by G-MODE with original story by Acacia and character designs by Umemaro, known for Mahou Shoujo no Majo Saiban, the title is planned for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2026 with support for Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and English. G-MODE, active across mobile, PC, and console, also oversees Data East licensing and the G-MODE Archives revival line. Tokyo Game Show 2026 opens with business days on September 17-18 (10:00-17:00) before public days on September 19-20 (9:30-17:00) and September 21 (9:30-16:00), with entry requiring a ticket. With an unusual premise and a voice-driven demo, this is a novel RPG worth watching as its launch window approaches.
