Farming Simulator 25 DLC Adds Six Houses and 80+ Placeables

Sega has released new details for Beans & Alpacas, the paid expansion heading to Farming Simulator 25 on October 27. The update introduces six new house types and more than 80 placeable items, giving players additional ways to personalize their farmland. Farming Simulator 25 is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac. The freshly published information focuses on the buildings and decorative objects bundled in the pack, alongside the previously announced South American setting and new agricultural machinery arriving in the same release.
Each of the six new houses features its own distinct interior design, and players can step inside to change their character’s clothing or save their game data. The buildings also carry an aging system: their exteriors gradually weather as in-game years pass, giving each property a more distinctive character over time. Players who prefer a tidy look can repaint a house to restore it to a like-new condition, meaning both the weathered appearance and the freshly renovated version remain available depending on personal preference.

Beyond the houses, the pack adds more than 80 items that can be placed freely across the farm. Among them are small sheds for storing tools and machinery, as well as fences for enclosing plots of land. Combined with the new residential buildings, these objects let players lay out and decorate an entirely original farm rather than working within the standard arrangements. The publisher’s announcement presents this customization as a central part of the expansion’s appeal.

Beans & Alpacas also introduces Catuai, a new farming region set in South America. There, players can grow coffee beans and raise alpacas and Brahman cattle, while operating more than 25 new machines, including vehicles from Colombo Industries. The expansion further strengthens the game’s physics, refines implement animations, and adds vegetation effects for sugarcane crops. It will be sold as a standalone paid DLC and in a bundle with the base game, and it is included in the Year 2 Season Pass, which offers better value than purchasing each paid release separately. For players who enjoy long-term farm building, the aging-house mechanic is easily the most intriguing addition here.
