Drosselmeyer’s Relaxing Game Apps Return with New Versions and Titles
On March 31, 2026, Drosselmeyer Shokai and Qdan announced the revival of two previously removed mobile game applications alongside the release of two completely new titles. The returning apps, “Sanpo Kami” (Walking God) and “Kuron Michi” (Empty Argument Path), had been unavailable on app stores for an extended period due to distributor account issues. Both were popular paid applications that had previously reached number one in entertainment category rankings. The companies have now released new versions with improvements while also launching two fresh titles: “Himatsubushi Kami” (Time-Killing God) and “Oogiri Kami” (Comedy God).
The revived applications maintain their core gameplay while receiving several enhancements. The new versions feature strengthened play history functions, increased numbers of included topics, and optimization for various screen sizes including tablets. For operational stability, the photo shooting and recording functions have been removed. Previous purchasers of “Sanpo Kami” (iOS/Android) and “Kuron Michi” (iOS) can download the new versions for free during a one-month limited period starting from the release date. After downloading within this window, users can continue accessing the apps without charge.
Each of the four applications offers a different type of casual gaming experience. “Sanpo Kami” generates over 1,900 combinations of “where” and “what to do” to create unique walking adventures. “Kuron Michi” is a conversation game producing 1,900+ discussion topics from phrase combinations. “Himatsubushi Kami” serves as an indoor version of Sanpo Kami with 90+ time-killing missions for home entertainment. “Oogiri Kami” generates over 20,000 comedy topics through three-part word combinations, functioning as a comedy idea generator for parties and gatherings.
The pricing structure varies between titles. While previous purchasers get special access, “Kuron Michi” (Android version) and the two new applications “Himatsubushi Kami” and “Oogiri Kami” are priced at 330 yen (~$2.20) from launch. The companies plan to continue developing the “Drosselmeyer’s Official Relaxing Game Apps” series, converting more of Drosselmeyer’s analog “yuruge” (relaxing game) series into mobile applications. This revival represents a significant restoration of previously popular content that had become inaccessible to users, bringing back well-regarded casual gaming experiences with modern improvements.
