ASUS TUF 7X Desktop Debuts with Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5060 Ti
ASUS has announced the TUF 7X, a pre-built gaming desktop featuring Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX mobile processor and the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. The system comes housed in a 47-liter high-transparency chassis featuring the TUF series’ signature dimensional aesthetic design. According to the announcement, the TUF 7X is positioned as a ready-to-use gaming solution for players who prefer a pre-configured system over building one from scratch. The desktop ships with Windows 11 pre-installed, allowing users to begin gaming immediately. ASUS also stated that select regions in China may qualify for a national subsidy of up to ¥1500 (~$210), along with a ¥50 (~$7) e-voucher rebate for purchases made during the promotional period.
At the heart of the TUF 7X is Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX mobile processor, featuring 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores for a total of 24 cores, with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4GHz. The CPU includes 76MB of combined L2 and L3 cache and supports manual overclocking for advanced users. ASUS states that the processor works with Intel Thread Director and APO game acceleration technology to deliver improved 1% low frame rates in titles such as 007: First Strike and Valorant. On the graphics side, the RTX 5060 Ti is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture with 8GB of GDDR7 memory and 4,608 CUDA cores. It supports DLSS 4.5 multi-frame generation technology and offers 759 TOPS of AI performance for local AI model deployment.
The TUF 7X uses a high-transparency tempered glass side panel with a hardness rating of 6.5H, covered with an ITO (indium tin oxide) coating to resist electromagnetic interference. The front panel features a multi-color light strip, and the entire system’s RGB lighting is controllable through ASUS’ Armoury Crate software. For thermal management, the processor is cooled by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, while the chassis houses a four-fan configuration. ASUS notes that all four fans use loop dynamic bearings and self-lubricating design, with a rated lifespan of up to 160,000 hours, aiming to provide reliable long-term operation.
The TUF 7X comes pre-configured with 32GB of DDR5 RAM (2x16GB) and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The motherboard includes additional expansion slots, allowing upgrades up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and storage expansion up to 2TB SSD plus 2TB HDD. ASUS confirms that user-installed upgrades will not affect the system warranty. For connectivity, the system provides six USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two HDMI 2.1b outputs, four DisplayPort outputs, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port. The desktop also comes with three-year on-site service and 7×9 after-sales support.
